SolarFocus to Launch Solar Kindle Case at CES

According to foreign media reports, SolarFocus, a solar energy technology company, will release a solar Kindle cover called "Solar Kindle" at the CES conference that will be opened on Monday. It will be equipped with a solar panel that will charge the Kindle e-reader.

SolarKindle has two charging modes: solar energy and USB. SolarFocus claims that under the natural lighting environment, this Kindle case can protect the Kindle without charging power for up to 3 months.

SolarKindle also comes with an LED reading light that can last up to 50 hours without the power of the Kindle's main battery. SolarFocus said the Kindle can work for 3 days with direct sunlight for 1 hour.

This novel and environmentally-friendly Kindle case will be officially launched on January 15 for $79.99.
