The Henan Provincial New Materials Key Technology Research and Development Academician Workstation has been established by Yalong Company and Academician Tang Fenglin of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Academician Chikhitkin Viktor Fedorovich (Russia). Academician Tang Fenglin : a famous expert in prospecting engineering. He used to be deputy secretary of the Party branch and department head of the Department of Exploration Engineering of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), deputy director of the Hubei Provincial Exploration Engineering Committee, and director of the Course Guidance Committee of the Exploration Engineering Department of the Ministry of Geology and Minerals. Foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, and academician of the International Mineral Resources Academy (IAMR).
His main works include: "Diamond Superhard Materials for Drilling", "Drilling Process Experiment Design", "Core Drilling", "Application of Microcomputer in Drilling Engineering", etc., and published more than 120 papers in domestic and foreign magazines. Eight of them were published in Russian in Russian.
He was awarded the first prize and the second prize of Hubei Excellent Teaching Achievements and the third prize of the Ministry of Geology and Minerals; the Sino-Russian university cooperation project “Optimization of Drilling Process†was awarded the scientific invention of Russian Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 200 papers, obtained more than 50 patents, and published 10 books.
He has made academic reports in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
He has visited China many times and has made academic reports at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Henan Yalong Diamond Products Technology Co., Ltd.
In 2009, he was hired as a visiting professor by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and was hired as a senior technology consultant by Henan Yalong Diamond Products Technology Company.
