It mainly includes various cast iron heads, epoxy resin heads, dry bales and nylon heads. The breakdown is as follows:
(1) cast iron head. The cast iron head has a rich operating experience, high mechanical strength and dielectric strength, long life, but its bulky, bulky, messy structure, high technical requirements, long operating time, high cost, seal is not reliable.
(2) epoxy resin head. Epoxy resin is a kind of thermosetting resin. It can participate in a certain amount of curing agent under the conditions of wire and cable. The epoxy resin head has satisfactory mechanical strength, electrical insulation function and sealing reliability. Compared with the cast iron head, its small size, light weight, the structure is simpler, the construction is more convenient and the cost is lower. However, on-site manufacturing epoxy casting agent technology is not easy to grasp accurately, curing agent has the effect of poisoning human health.
(3) dry Baotou. The dry toppings are generally small and light, the construction is convenient, the cost is low, and the time required is less. However, its mechanical strength, seal strength, and heat resistance are all poor, so its use life is shorter. With regard to the dry toe cap, indoor terminals of 1 to 3 kV are popular, and 6 to 10 kV of temporary cable terminals are used.
(4) nylon head. The nylon head adopts nylon or polypropylene as the casing of the box body and is internally filled with oil. It has the advantages of convenient construction, good electrical function, simple structure, beautiful appearance and the like, but its low sealing strength is a disadvantage of its loss of life. In particular, the appearance of oil leakage is more serious in laying larger lines and higher load lines.
