Yongji will build aluminum deep processing industrial park

It was learned from the Provincial Economic and Information Commission that the “Yongji Aluminum Deep Processing Industrial Park Industry Development Plan” has been approved recently. From 2014 to 2020, Yongji Aluminum Deep Processing Industrial Park will exert regional comparative advantages, highlight the vertical extension of industry chain and horizontal cooperation, and create a “1461” industrial system. By 2020, the total industrial output value will exceed 30 billion yuan.

According to reports, the Yongji Aluminum Deep Processing Industrial Park is one of the important supports of the southern aluminum industry cluster established by the provincial government. There are currently 10 large-scale and above-scale enterprises in the park, initially forming an industrial chain consisting mainly of aluminum ingots (aluminum liquids)-aluminum alloy rods (aluminum flats)-aluminum (aluminum sheets)-auto parts. Aluminum has a crude processing capacity of 590,000 tons, and aluminum processing materials have a production capacity of 74,500 tons. However, it is also confronted with outstanding problems such as high production costs of electrolytic aluminum, mismatch of electrolytic aluminum production capacity and aluminum processing capacity, and low proportion of aluminum deep processing. According to the plan, Yongji Aluminum Deep Processing Industrial Park will rely on Huasheng Aluminum to develop auxiliary industrial chains such as aluminum industrial chain for construction and industrial use, industrial parts for automobile and consumer goods casting, aluminum foil and foil industrial chain, and electronic aluminum foil industrial chain. To build aluminum six deep-processing plates in the fields of construction, transportation, electronics, packaging, electrical appliances and consumer goods, and improve the horizontal supporting industries such as modern aluminum logistics and extrusion abrasive tools. By 2020, Yongji Aluminum Deep Processing Industrial Park will form high-purity aluminum production capacity of 15,000 tons, crude processing capacity of 690,000 tons, and aluminum processing material production capacity of 524,500 tons. By then, the output of aluminum deep-processing products in the park will exceed 270,000 tons, and the deep processing ratio will reach 40%.
