The "Aluminum Industry Energy Conservation Monitoring Technical Specifications and Implementation Guide" review meeting was held

In order to strengthen the industry's energy conservation supervision work, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently held a review meeting on “Technical Specifications and Implementation Guidelines for Energy Conservation Monitoring in the Electrolytic Aluminum Industry” (hereinafter referred to as “Guidelines”) in Fuzhou. Relevant provincial (autonomous regions, municipalities) energy conservation supervision agencies, energy monitoring agencies, industry associations, electrolytic aluminum companies and other experts attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the compiling unit introduced the basic conditions of key products in the electrolytic aluminum industry, the scope of application of the “Guidelines”, the specific requirements and content of energy conservation monitoring, and the calculation scope and methods of energy consumption of product processes. The participating experts gave detailed comments on the comprehensiveness, operability, normativeness, and guidance of the Guide. The formulation of the “Guide” will play a positive role in promoting the unification, standardization, and improvement of the energy conservation supervision in the electrolytic aluminum industry in the country.
