Employees from 1,000 organizations around the world participated in the TinyPulse survey. The survey found several noteworthy differences between employees in the Asia Pacific region and employees in other parts of the world.
The biggest difference is that when answering the question of whether employees can recite the company's vision, mission and cultural values, nearly 54% of employees in the Asia Pacific region say they can't do it, far exceeding the global average of 32.5%.
The biggest problem for companies in the Asia-Pacific region is internal communication. Only 40% of employees score more than 90 points on the issue of interaction with their bosses, while the global average is about 55%.
