NASA tests the latest drone avoidance obstacle system

According to foreign media reports, NASA recently developed a new set of drone sensing and avoidance systems. Recently, the system is undergoing a third round of testing. Researchers use real-time data to confirm the availability of drone tracks, sensors, and other simulators. This set of real-time data will help drones avoid obstacles such as airplanes flying in the air. To test the system is really useful, the researchers let another aircraft "invade" the flight path of the drone. It is reported that the researchers conducted a total of more than 200 tests.

The drone used in the test was Predator B, an upgraded version of Predator that became larger, more powerful, and capable of carrying more than 500 pounds.

If the NASA system is successful, then this will indicate that the aircraft can fly safely even in heavy air traffic.
