Recently, the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association held a meeting in Hejin, Shanxi, with the development and industrial application of the horizontal vacuum belt filter for separating and washing pseudo-boehmite. The results appraisal meeting was attended by experts who listened carefully to the report of the project. Questioning and discussing, experts believe that the project will be the first time the horizontal vacuum belt filter is used for pseudo-boehmite separation and washing, and is more suitable for filtering pseudo-boehmite filter cloth, improving the filtration strength of the equipment. The results confirmed the preferred separation zone and the washing zone of the horizontal vacuum belt filter, which ensured the qualification rate of the filter cake and the reduction of water consumption. The production operation shows that the equipment operation is stable and reliable, and the labor intensity is low. The application of the equipment in the separation and washing of pseudo-boehmite has reached the domestic advanced level, and it is recommended to promote the application.
